The Congressional oversight panel has published a set of around 70 photographs obtained from the property of former convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third such disclosure from a tranche of over 95,000 images the body has obtained from Epstein's estate. It includes images of passages from the novel Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored pictures of female overseas passports.

This action occurs just hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to release all files connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photos bring up additional inquiries about precisely what the Justice Department has in its custody," said the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

A number of the photos published on Thursday feature Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen alongside a woman whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest high-net-worth, powerful figures to be pictured in Epstein's estate photographs published by the House Oversight Committee - earlier published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the images is does not constitute proof of any misconduct, and many of the featured men have said they were in no way implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release released with the photo publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not supply explanatory details or timings for the pictures.

"Photographs were selected to provide the American people with openness into a representative sample of the photos obtained from the holdings, and to give understanding into Epstein's associates and his extremely alarming actions," the announcement states.

The disclosure also includes a number of photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in ink across various areas of a woman's body, like her upper body, feet, hip, and spine. Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was exploited by a older literature professor.

A particular passage from the work inscribed across a female's torso reads, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photos of women's identification and identification documents from nations globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the papers, including identities and DOBs, is obscured but the panel indicated in a press release that the passports pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

A further image features Epstein seated at a table intimately in the company of three women whose features have been censored - a first has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is crouching to view a nearby laptop. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the third individual put on a piece of jewelry.

A further photo disclosed is a image of digital messages from an unnamed individual who states they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are requesting "$1000 per girl".

Photo Disclosure Occurs Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The body has thousands of photographs in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and everyday," its statement on Thursday clarified.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate provided to the committee are separate from what is largely called "the Epstein documents". That material are records in the DOJ's control connected to its independent inquiry into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Donald Trump enacted in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The scope of the contents included in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's probable that much of the material will be significantly obscured, similar to House Oversight Committee releases
